Meet Rachelle

I have a passion for coming alongside individuals who may feel stuck, hurt, or confused about life. I believe my job is to provide a safe, supportive, challenging, and collaborative environment for each client. We all endure struggles and pain at some point in our lives. However, it does not define who we are. I believe it provides us with an opportunity for reflection and growth.

Call Rachelle: (503) 482-2181 – Email Rachelle: rachelle@lifeencounter.com

It is my joy to walk alongside you in the process of change. Together we will consider the way you have lived your life story and find new insight into areas of frustration, pain and disappointment. Since none of us live in a vacuum, we will explore your life story in the context of family dynamics, relationships, culture and community. We will work together to find new ways of thinking, believing, and engaging in daily life so that you may begin to make steps toward living the life you most desire.

People choose to enter into counseling for all sorts of reasons. Whatever that reason is for you, as your therapist I will honor and respect the decision you make to entrust me with your life story at whatever level you choose to share it. I will view our relationship as a collaborative one, and we will work together as a team to achieve your therapeutic goals.

My goal is to create a non-judgmental, supportive space that will bring about new strength, perspective and vitality. I use a variety of approaches and tools that I will tailor to your needs and our work together.
